iBooks Author: Introduction and Best Practices
Join Hilary Srere from Apple's Education Division for an introduction to iBooks Author and a discussion around the best practices for creating engaging digital content with the iBooks Author application. Learn about interactive widgets and how they help communicate key concepts. Explore the kinds of content you can create (text and static images, videos animation, simulations) and when you should use each type. Hilary will take you on a tour of some interactive multi-touch books created with iBooks Author and showcase the potential in this application for teaching and learning. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the session.
There are no prerequisites for this session; it is a demo-based presentation and is not hands-on.
