One Tool at a Time: Prezi
Explore the potential of Prezi to communicate with your students and other audiences.
This session is part of the "One Tool at a Time for Teaching and Learning" series presented by the Digital Union. Integrate one tech tool at a time in your workflow to engage students and make teaching and learning more fun.
In this hands-on session, we'll use Prezi as a tool to create a course announcement and put it on a Carmen course homepage. Before coming to the workshop, you'll create a free Prezi account and view a very short video about Prezi basics. During the workshop, you'll learn about the Prezi presentation creation interface, and you'll create a brief presentation. Then, you'll explore the options for making your presentation available to your audience in Carmen or on the internet.
Computers will be provided for this hands-on session.
This is a quick, 55-minute workshop, so it is important to come to the session prepared. When you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions for creating a Prezi account and viewing an orientation video. If you don't receive this email within 12 hours, please contact the Education Lead in the Digital Union (Joni Tornwall, tornwall.2).
